And you better hope somehow we can start to get them to pay attention or we will be stuck using purpose built computers and be slaves to the grindstone like Pro Tools users. Obviously your not one of the MANY manufacturers, and software companies that are having to scramble to find solutions to problems that did not exist when the drivers were submitted to Apple, or Intel that threw us all under the bus by totally re-writing the USB 3.0 protocols to not be backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices. If this were 25 years ago, yes, there could be a reasonable expectation that some "under the hood" work may need to happen to get hardware and OS working together.
